CORE VALUES

We believe in heart-to-heart connection.  For children to open their hearts to learn, they must first know they are genuinely loved and cared for.  Our priority is to regard every child as precious and unique, treating them with respect and connecting with them in a personal way.

We believe in mentoring children by teaching biblical principles in an intriguing and impactful way.  Our learning experience includes videos, object lessons, drama, art, music, games, fun activities and other creative components in a decor that is colorful and interesting.  All of this helps the Bible come alive and creates a learning environment where children are stimulated and engaged.

We believe in maintaining a clean, safe, secured and child friendly environment.  We only allow authorized, trained volunteers who have completed a thorough background screening to minister to the children.  Only those volunteers are permitted inside the children's rooms during services.

We believe in creating an environment where children can experience the presence and reality of God.  Teaching is extremely important and when coupled with divine encounter -- (the touch of a living and loving God) lasting impact takes place.  We purposely encourage and allow opportunity for children to respond to what they are learning by participating in worship, ministry and prayer.  These times allow the Holy Spirit to touch and minister to the needs of the children.

We believe in teaching children, not only the foundational truths, but also the deeper truths of God's Word.  Too often the mindset in teaching is that children cannot understand the deeper truths of God's Word.  As a result, we postpone giving them necessary knowledge until they are older, and then, more often than not, it is too late.  The hearts of children are very much alive to God and although they may not fully understand everything intellectually, their hearts are amazingly receptive.

We believe in equipping and releasing children to do the work of the ministry.  Receiving the knowledge of Scripture is extremely important, but doing the Scripture is what drives the truths home.  Children do not have a junior Holy Spirit, as some might assume, but they have the same Holy Spirit that adults have.  Therefore children have a similar capacity to develop their hearts, grow in their relationship with God and to minister to others. Children want to participate.  We give them opportunity.
